The last race of the year for CMJ Raceway couldn't have gone any better. Mother nature blessed the facility with beautiful sunny warm skies all day. The CMJ crew did a great job preparing the track which held up well all day. There was a low rider turnout which was too bad because those who didn't make it missed out on a great track.
Jason Erdmann took the honors of being the fastest rider all day winning A class. Bryce Backus looked good in B class although he didn't have many riders lining up with him. Cody Fredrick came back from his wrist injury to win both motos in 125JR. Joe Gomez and Brandon Clifford were hauling the mail on minibikes and pretty much left the competion in the dust. Tom Dretzka looked good for an old guy and as always having fun out on the track. Pete Degrand though wins the award for the most hoots and hollars while racing on the track. He told me after his moto, no matter how I finish, it is a great day at Hixton.
