The WIXC season kicked in to high gear on April 29th at Motosplat MX in Mountain, Wisconsin. Owner Shaun O’Brien has been hard at work, and play, getting the track ready for an early start this year. Competition was fierce this race with 156 riders ready to prove their skills. Local rider TJ Kerscher (age 14) has been riding almost daily on his family track in Lakewood, WI and at Motosplat MX in preparation for the season. TJ took first place on his Suzuki RM85 at every WIXC Hare scramble he rode in last season. 2012 marks TJ’s debut in the B class on a Suzuki RM125. His hard work and dedication paid off with a second place win, just 33 seconds behind first.

Motosplat MX? More like Motospactacular! Shawn O’Brien knows how to make a great track. This weekend’s season opener of the WIXC hare scramble series revved up in Mountain, WI on April 29th. O’Brien’s track was the perfect mix of motocross track, tight, technical woods trails and safety. No major injury is always a result worth bragging about!
